Copper Pro Series II for AT&T
CopperPro Series II was designed
specifically to support AT&T’s
Project Lightspeed. It ties directly
into your existing NetDSL process
to support troubleshooting and
repair of Failed/ATI pairs. Once
repair is complete, the pair is
certified to meet AT&T standards,
the pair record is updated, and
the repair job is closed out –
all automatically.
- Troubleshoot noise and interference
problems and qualify pairs for VDSL.
- Repair and certify failed/ATI pairs to Lightspeed standards.
- Assure service connectivity and
performance with new ADSL1/2/2+
and VDSL2 test options.
- Project Lightspeed construction and repair.
- Identify and locate faults
and impairments such as bridge taps, load
coils and interference.
- Verify services are configured
properly and available. Makes fast work of installing and
maintaining service.
- Capabilities for broadband
deployment
CopperPro testing capabilities include:
- DCV and ACV measurement
- Shorts, grounds and loop resistance
with distance conversion
- Resistive fault location (Wheatstone and K-Test)
- Load coil counter with estimated distance to fault and impedance vs.
frequency graph
- Leakage stress test to 200V
- Loop device counter
- Tracing tone with four modes
- Voice frequency noise – metallic and power influence
- Voice frequency loss
- Voice frequency longitudinal balance
- Voice frequency tone generator
- Automated POTS AutoTest
- Dial set and non-intrusive line monitor
- Voice frequency terminated and dial-up test macros (SmartStrap, MyHelper,FED, SASS, DATU, SmartPro)
- Multimode TDR with auto test: pair 1 test, compare pair 1 and 2, difference between pair 1 and 2, pair 1 monitor,
pair 2 to pair 1 crosstalk, compare pair 1 to stored trace
- Broadband noise and level spectral analysis with interference masks (VDSL bandwidth)
- Broadband loss impulse noise reduction (VDSL bandwidth)
- ADSL, ADSL2+, VDSL2 and XDSL AutoTest for pair qualification, varies by model

An easy-to-use fault locator, cable and wire
manager and tone generator.
- Works on any two or more conductor cable up to
3,000 feet (915 meters)
- Instantly measures distance to open or any fault
from one end of any cable pair
- Patented SmartTone™ tone generator positively
identifies pair
- Measures cable distance on spool
- Measures constantly while "On" Displays distance
reading rather than waveform
- Large bright LED screen
- One button operation
- High voltage detection
- Moisture proof
- Additional line cord options available for
coaxial cable (F-connectors) and other applications
Product Capabilities
This easy-to-use, competitively priced tester is
three tools in one -- a fault locator, a cable & wire
manager and a tone generator with SmartTone™ technology.
From just ONE END of any two or more conductor cable you
can measure up to 3,000 feet (915 meters). Easily find
the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire,
telephone wire, security wire and coax. Results appear
as a distance reading rather than a waveform, so it's
perfect for technicians unfamiliar with Time Domain
Reflectometery (TDR). Find and fix cable problems
without pulling new wire or blindly cutting into walls.
Intermittent faults are easier to find because the unit
constantly measures while "On". |
