635 QuickBERT-T1

Full featured, handheld T1 test set

  • Full featured, handheld T1 test set at an affordable price
  • Instantaneous detection and display of framing, line coding, errors, alarms, level, frequency and more
  • Transmits and receives common Bit Error Rate Test (BERT) patterns and includes all common loop codes, including HDSL

Product Capabilities

In a single 4 lb (1.8 kg) package, the 635 includes all the basic T1 testing capabilities you would expect in a larger and more expensive tester. It performs bit-error tests, detects framing type, line coding and bit pattern, and displays signal level, frequency, clock slips, errors and alarms. The 635 transmits the most commonly used loop codes, including HDSL. Full, unframed and fractional (56k and 64k) T1 are supported, along with display of signaling and data bits and capture of DTMF digits. Plus, individual voice channels may be monitored on the built-in speaker or over a headset.

TS®100 Cable Fault Finder /a>

An easy-to-use fault locator, cable and wire manager and tone generator.

  • Works on any two or more conductor cable up to 3,000 feet (915 meters)
  • Instantly measures distance to open or any fault from one end of any cable pair
  • Patented SmartTone™ tone generator positively identifies pair
  • Measures cable distance on spool
  • Measures constantly while "On" displays distance reading rather than waveform
  • Large bright LED screen
  • One button operation
  • High voltage detection
  • Moisture proof
  • Additional line cord options available for coaxial cable (F-connectors) and other applications

Product Capabilities

This easy-to-use, competitively priced tester is three tools in one -- a fault locator, a cable & wire manager and a tone generator with SmartTone™ technology. From just ONE END of any two or more conductor cable you can measure up to 3,000 feet (915 meters). Easily find the distance to opens or shorts on electrical wire, telephone wire, security wire and coax. Results appear as a distance reading rather than a waveform, so it's perfect for technicians unfamiliar with Time Domain Reflectometery (TDR). Find and fix cable problems without pulling new wire or blindly cutting into walls. Intermittent faults are easier to find because the unit constantly measures while "On".

LinkRunner Pro and Duo

Empower techs to troubleshoot gig links

The LinkRunner Pro and Duo are the first frontline tools to establish links at Gigabit speeds. That means frontline technicians now have the power to troubleshoot Gigabit link problems before they’re escalated to higher levels, giving network engineers more time to focus on optimization, planning, and expansion.

Quickly resolve 802.1X security conflicts

The LinkRunner Pro and Duo not only will discover the presence of 802.1X, but can also gain authentication on 802.1X networks. The included LinkRunner Connect Software can be used to select EAP type, provide certificates, and enter passwords. Technicians can now resolve 802.1X conflicts and get users back up and running fast.

Eliminate guesswork over port locations

The LinkRunner Pro and Duo are the first connectivity tools to support the new IEEE Link Layer Discovery Protocol (LLDP) in addition to the Cisco and Extreme Discovery Protocols (CDP and EDP). That allows technicians to speed problem resolution by precisely locating the nearest switch model, slot, and port.

Document problems with link status reports

When no test documentation is available, closing trouble tickets can be a frustrating and time-consuming process. Finger pointing and redundant testing are just a couple of the wastes that occur. The LinkRunner Pro and Duo eliminate these wastes by generating objective, professional test reports that can be printed or routed electronically.
