ThermalPro Fiber Optics 432 Cabinet

Today's feature-rich and band width hungry applications require fiber further out in the network. SPC's ThermalPro line of Fiber Optic cabinets contain solutions for both active and passive elements of your network.

The 432 Series is designed to receive up to 16 feeder fibers from the CO or main fiber trunk line, split the signal and distribute it to a maximum of 432 subscribers. The cabinet is constructed of heavy gauge aluminum with a powder coat finish for reduced weight and superior corrosion resistance. The top of the cabinet is a double wall construction to reduce the effects of solar radiation and for structural integrity. The end bay is for cable entry, fiber splicing, and connection to the backside of the distribution patch panels. There are 4 sealed cable entry ports in the base and roof of the cabinet.

This allows for the feeder cable stub and up to 3 distribution stubs to enter the cabinet for splicing in to the adjacent splice trays. All incoming and outgoing fibers are routed through a fiber breakout protector. ThermalPro cabinets have been tested to Telcordia GR 487 specifications and are NEMA4 compliant.

ThermalPro Fiber Optics 816 Cabinet

The left end bay is for cable entry, fiber splicing, and connection to the backside of the distribution patch panels. There are 4 sealed cable entry ports in the base and roof of the cabinet.

The cabinet is equipped with 816 adapters installed in a central divider panel, separating the splice chamber from the subscriber connection side. Distribution fibers are routed to the splice trays located in the splice tray rack. The outside plant feeder and distribution cable can enter from either the bottom or the top of the cabinet. ThermalPro cabinets have been tested to Telcordia GR 487 specifications and are NEMA4 compliant

Modular Outdoor Cabinets

Designed and engineered to grow with ease, these aluminum cabinets can be configured to meet any equipment requirements. The modularity permits end users to specify the number of equipment bays and utility end bays required.

All cabinets are built with standard 19”/23” equipment racks. Select the number of equipment bays and the number of utility end bays based on specific equipment space requirements: (EIA 1.75” spacing per U) The first digit of the model number specifies the number of equipment bays, the second digit specifies the number of utility end bays.

Outdoor Electronic Cabinets

Requirements for outdoor shelters are as varied as the applications. Located in environments from building rooftops to residential areas, these shelters can serve as wireless base stations, transportation signaling systems, or network access security for a host of energy, utilities, and communication infrastructure.

These shelters are perfect for large DLC/DSL applications, providing an economic alternative to multiple cabinets. SPC offers shelters that are designed in modules, flexible for easy assembly. Our paneled assemblies are constructed in three layers, depending on materials selected, with the center layer molded in polystyrene for advanced thermal management capabilities at an attractive price.

This compound material can reduce by 30-50% the amount of energy required for heating and cooling, creating a sizable savings over the life of the enclosure. All cabinets are designed to IP55 standards and are waterproof, fire resistant, and offer the ultimate protection in harsh environments.
