L.E.D. Alarm with Audio Detection
The GAS·TRAC instrument is capable of sensing and warning the
operator of the presence of a wide variety of combustible gases.
The device has a 3-step L.E.D. visual indicator which alerts the
operator at sensitivity levels beginning with 10% LEL on up to
40% LEL methane gas, as well as a loud, audible, variable rate,
tick warning system. The tick rate increases with the gas level,
thus helping to pinpoint the source of gas infiltration.
Ultrasensitive with Continuous Air Sampling
This unique design eliminates the need for pumps, tubes, or
squeeze bulbs. There is no need for purging after sampling. The
solid-state sensor continuously samples the atmosphere by
diffusion.
The advanced, solid-state electronics eliminates adjustment
prior to use. This device can detect as little as 10ppm
methane-in-air. It can be used in place of the much more
expensive "FI"-type detectors.
Solid State
The GAS·TRAC instrument has been field proven for over 10
years and has been useful in detecting a wide variety of
combustible and toxic gases. It has been standardized upon by
many major gas utilities, oil companies, and telephone
companies, as well as finding wide usages with fire departments,
arson/hazmet teams, and maintenance personnel from all types of
industry. It is known for its durability and low maintenance
costs. The unique design of durable, lightweight plastic makes
the GAS·TRAC portable and simple to use.

The GasTrac NGX-6-CMRC combines all the reliability of the
original GasTrac NGX-6 with the added benefit of continuous
monitoring and convenience of rechargeable batteries. The
instrument is capable of sensing and warning the operator of the
presence of a wide variety of combustible gases.
The device has a 3-step L.E.D. indicator that alerts the
operator at sensitivity levels beginning with .5% on up to 2.5%
methane gas with a loud, audible, variable rate, tick warning
system. The tick rate increases with the gas level, thus helping
to locate the source of gas. The GasTrac NGX-6-CMRC’s design
eliminates the need for pumps, tubes, or squeeze bulbs. There is
no need for purging after sampling. The solid-state sensor
continuously samples the atmosphere by diffusion.
The advanced, solid-state electronics eliminates adjustment
prior to use. This device can detect as little as 10 ppm
methane-in-air. It can be used in place of the much more
expensive “F1”-type detectors.

U-TECK has combined a longtime, craft-accepted design with a
new polyethylene material to produce a rugged ladder wedge that
can be warranted for up to five years. With this new material,
there is no painting involved; the color is molded throughout
the wedge.
The Ladder Wedge is used when a ladder must be put against a
building, cable, or pole, and one leg does not touch the ground
firmly, thus creating an unsafe climbing condition. The Ladder
Wedge is placed under the unlevel foot to make the ladder
steady. The U-TECK Ladder Wedge is also needed on soft ground to
prevent earth movement, which can cause the ladder foot to move
while the user is climbing. The Ladder Wedge recently underwent
rigorous testing by IMR Test Labs.
Their material analysis report concluded that no visible
evidence of any deformation or failure of the wedge was noted at
our specified 375 lb. minimum load or at their standard 396 lb.
load test stop point.

U-TECK has combined a longtime, craft-accepted design with a
new polyethylene material to produce a rugged splicer seat that
can be warranted for up to five years. With the U-TECK “P”
Splicer Seat, there is never a need for water treatment because
it is waterproof. No need for painting, either; the color is
molded into the seat. And no worries about splintering. It is
ouchless! This seat can be drilled to attach other equipment,
such as splicing machines. U-TECK has even included a handy tool
slot in the top to hold your tools, connectors, or other small
items when you need them close at hand. Conventional splicing
machines can be attached to the “P” Splicer Seat. The unique
design of the seat allows it to be used at three different
positions for varied heights. The “P” Splicer Seat also makes an
excellent footstool. With this seat, you will never need to
purchase a replacement again.
